Position Overview
As a principal developer on the Member Administration team, you will be creating solutions to ensure seamless member management for Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) customers. The Member Administration team plays a crucial role in providing a seamless experience for our customers when it comes to managing their memberships, permissions, and subscriptions. Our mission is to provide the base layer for powerful ACC member management tools to enable customers to access what they need when they need it. We ensure that our customers can easily manage subscriptions, products, and accounts.
ACC is a large scale construction management application used by the leading construction and engineering firms in the world to organize and deliver on large scale projects. ACC connects teams and project data from design to done—reducing risk, protecting profits, and increasing predictability. In ACC, we have 5 separate cloud ecosystems, over 400 developers across 9 time zones, innovating 29 individual products. To scale and deliver value to our customers effectively we need powerful tools and administration services to make the enterprise experience exciting. This role is remote in Canada.

Responsibilities
-
Research, conceive, design, develop, and test features that help customers manage members in the ACC platform
-
Collaborate with a variety of teams in AEC, both domestic and abroad
-
Write unit / integration tests to achieve a better and more robust code
-
Take an active role in code reviews & pull requests, get your own code reviewed by the team and become a better developer overall

Set and maintain high coding standards
-
Mentor fellow developers and lead by example
Minimum Qualifications
-
BS or MS in a technical field, or significant equivalent experience
-
5+ years developing solutions using Node.js and React
-
Expertise with SQL/Postgres DB
-
Experience with AWS
-
Ability to design scalable and resilient technical solutions
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse fluently with multiple types of audiences ranging from managers, customers, and software developers

Ability to convert complex software problems into technical tasks

Ability to collaborate and work well in a remote-friendly distributed team to deliver on team goals

Flexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $131,500 and $180,840. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
