Position Overview
Autodesk's Entertainment & Media Solutions (EMS) division is dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology for movie production, supporting some of the world's largest budget films. We are seeking a Principal Web Frontend Developer to join our innovative and collaborative team.
As a Principal Web Frontend Developer, you will work on highly technical software projects that power major film productions. You're passionate about developing innovative technology and development best practices. You thrive on problem-solving and enjoy developing functional, robust, optimized, and scalable solutions in a team environment.
Responsibilities

Contribute to all aspects of software development, including architecture, design, estimation, development, testing, and release

Collaborate with product owners, software architects, and other engineers to iteratively turn high-level requirements into product enhancements delivered incrementally

Enhance engineering practices within the web development discipline and act as a supportive mentor and guide for the team

Influence UX design decisions and drive alignment across teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery across web, native, and backend platforms
Minimum Qualifications
-
8+ years of experience with frontend development (Angular & TypeScript)
-
Deep understanding and application of software design principles and patterns
-
Proven skills in improving code quality through testing (unit, component, and functional) and code reviews
-
Experience in implementing design systems and developing component libraries
-
Experience in designing and working with APIs
-
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
-
Experience in sharing knowledge, ideas, and mentoring team members
Preferred Qualifications
-
Proficiency in Angular, RxJS, and NgRx
-
Experience working with distributed cross-functional teams
-
Track record of developing high-profile SaaS applications
-
Industry certifications and training in AWS and related technologies
-
Experience with CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices

La division Entertainment & Media Solutions (EMS) d'Autodesk se consacre au développement d'une technologie de pointe pour la production cinématographique, en soutenant certains des films à plus gros budget au monde. Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) développeur(se) frontend principal(e) pour rejoindre notre équipe innovante et collaborative.
Vous travaillerez sur des projets logiciels hautement techniques qui alimentent des productions cinématographiques majeures. Vous êtes passionné par le développement de technologies innovantes et de meilleures pratiques de développement. Vous aimez résoudre des problèmes et développer des solutions fonctionnelles, robustes, optimisées et évolutives dans un environnement d'équipe.
Responsabilités

Contribuer à tous les aspects du développement de logiciels, y compris l'architecture, la conception, l'estimation, le développement, les tests et la mise en production

Collaborer avec les responsables de produits, les architectes logiciels et d'autres ingénieurs pour transformer de manière itérative les exigences de haut niveau en améliorations de produits livrées de manière incrémentielle

Améliorer les pratiques d'ingénierie dans la discipline du développement web et agir en tant que mentor et guide pour l'équipe

Influencer les décisions de conception UX et favoriser l'alignement entre les équipes afin d'assurer une livraison efficace et efficiente sur les plateformes web, natives et backend
Qualifications minimales

8+ années d'expérience en développement frontend (Angular & TypeScript)

Compréhension approfondie et application des principes et des modèles de conception de logiciels

Compétences éprouvées dans l'amélioration de la qualité du code par le biais de tests (unitaires, de composants et fonctionnels) et de revues de code

Expérience dans la mise en œuvre de systèmes de conception et le développement de bibliothèques de composants

Expérience de la conception et de l'utilisation d'API

Capacité à expliquer des concepts techniques à des publics non techniques
-
Expérience dans le partage des connaissances et des idées, et dans le mentorat des membres de l'équipe
Qualifications préférées

Maîtrise d'Angular, de RxJS et de NgRx

Expérience de travail avec des équipes distribuées et interfonctionnelles

Expérience dans le développement d'applications SaaS de haut niveau.
