Role Description

Dropbox is seeking a Procurement Transformation Lead to drive the evolution of our technology stack, pushing boundaries, leveraging emerging capabilities, and setting new standards in purchasing automation. This role will focus on crafting and implementing a strategic vision that boosts efficiency, resilience, and competitive advantage through advanced systems and processes. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, innovative partners, startups, and industry leaders to advance procurement, embedding Dropbox products and next-generation tools throughout our operations.

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Transformation Lead will play a pivotal role in Dropbox’s AI First journey, bringing creativity and adaptability to simplify purchasing within a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define the Future of Procurement: Develop a forward-looking technology strategy that aligns procurement with Dropbox’s goals, positioning it as a source of innovation and business value.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Inspire a culture that embraces automation, simplification, digitization, and self-serve solutions, fostering bold thinking and experimentation.
  • Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with startups, suppliers, and industry experts to roadmap, design, and pilot cutting-edge solutions that advance procurement innovation.
  • Lead Transformation Initiatives: Drive the ongoing pipeline of transformation initiatives across the tech stack, accelerating time-to-value and enhancing procurement’s strategic impact.
  • Integrate Emerging Technologies: Team up with our valued partners to identify, test, and optimize new capabilities in alignment with Dropbox’s AI-first approach.
  • Adopt Next-Gen Solutions: Continuously evaluate disruptive, high-impact technologies to enhance procurement’s strategic value.Foster
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Dropbox teams to ensure that transformation initiatives meet business needs and priorities.
  • Inspire Change Across Teams: Influence cross-functional groups to embrace innovative approaches and technologies that add value across the organization.
  • Strengthen End-to-End Collaboration: Drive purchasing process innovation by collaborating with teams in Technology, Risk, and Supply Chain to implement impactful change.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a track record of progressive impact;
  • 7+ years of experience driving or influencing system and process transformations;
  • 5+ years in procurement, either as a practitioner, in industry, or in consulting.
  • Versatile thought leader with a strong understanding of what it takes to drive business success;
  • Visionary thinker with the ability to envision transformative changes beyond traditional methods;
  • Innovation-driven, with a passion for emerging technologies and challenging the status quo;
  • Data enthusiast with a knack for deep analysis and uncovering valuable insights;
  • Effective communicator skilled in presenting ideas clearly to inspire change and secure stakeholder buy-in;
  • Proven project leader, capable of driving high-impact initiatives from concept to completion;
  • Experienced with digital tools, including generative AI, RPA, and spend management solutions;
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement trends, capabilities, and key industry players;
  • Unwavering commitment to customer-focused solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.

  • Procurement and Sourcing: Oracle Fusion/Cloud, ServiceNow, UiPath
  • End to End Purchasing: Jira, Ironclad, VMS, DJ
  • Collaboration: Dropbox Paper, Capture, Sign, DocSend, Dash
  • Analytics and Reporting: Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Alteryx
  • Business Applications: G-Suite, Slack, Zoom

Compensation

Canada Pay Range

$100,700$136,300 CAD
