This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of product, risk, and partnerships, focused on enabling SME products to scale with confidence. As Product Manager, you'll define how partner onboarding works-today and for the future-ensuring it supports growth while meeting governance and regulatory expectations.
You'll shape the operating model, tools, and metrics that allow teams to onboard partners consistently, predictably, and at scale across regions and products. Your work will directly influence time-to-market, risk outcomes, and portfolio performance, giving you meaningful visibility and impact at senior leadership levels.
Beyond execution, this role offers the opportunity to build durable systems that last-translating complex requirements into clear, scalable solutions that empower teams and improve outcomes across the SME ecosystem. It's an ideal role for someone who enjoys leading through influence, shaping how work gets done, and driving impact across a broad product portfolio.
What you'll be doing
Own the end-to-end SME onboarding framework, including processes, tooling, metrics, and governance
Design scalable operating models that balance fast time-to-market with strong risk and compliance discipline
Align cross-functional teams-product, risk, sourcing, legal, security, and regional stakeholders-around onboarding priorities
Prioritise onboarding enhancements based on SME impact, risk exposure, and scalability
Lead resolution of complex onboarding challenges, escalations, and risk decisions
Translate regulatory and policy requirements into clear, SME-appropriate standards
Provide senior leadership with visibility into onboarding health, capacity, performance, and risk trends
Build, coach, and lead a high-performing onboarding team (L8 / L7), setting clear expectations and development paths
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Significant experience in product management, operations, risk, compliance, or governance-focused roles
Background in partnership-driven or ecosystem-based models (SMEs, fintech, platforms, marketplaces)
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams
Strong strategic thinking paired with disciplined execution
What success looks like
SME onboarding scales smoothly across products, partners, and regions
Leadership has confidence and clear visibility into onboarding performance and risk
Teams are aligned, empowered, and operating with consistency
SME partnerships launch faster, safer, and with greater predictability
Onboarding is viewed as a strategic enabler-not a bottleneck
