We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead our efforts in streamlining financial processes, ensuring data accuracy, and coordinating with operations and other cross functional teams to deliver outcomes related to audit. This role is critical in coordinating with various teams to build robust systems and integrations across products that support our financial operations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for financial systems, aligning with the company's long-term goals
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, FP&A, Audit, Operations, Revenue and Legal teams to identify process gaps and implement solutions that enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
  • Lead the development of automated reconciliation tools and processes to ensure the integrity of financial data across all systems
  • Oversee the design and implementation of internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work with Engineering teams to build and improve financial reporting systems, focusing on scalability and accuracy
  • Manage the product roadmap for finance-related tools, prioritizing features that support audit readiness and financial transparency
  • Coordinate with external auditors to understand and address their requirements in our financial systems
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of financial processes and systems
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management and reporting

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech or financial services
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, GAAP, and regulatory requirements for public companies
  • Experience with financial systems, tax calculations, ERP implementations, and data analytics tools
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Bonus: Knowledge and experience with digital assets 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial part in shaping our company's financial future and potentially guiding us through the process of going public. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating efficient, scalable financial systems and have a deep understanding of the intersection between finance, technology, and product management.

Base pay for this role is expected to be between $166,000 - $224,500 USD for San Francisco Bay and New York City area. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location, skillset, experience, and qualifications.
