Tucows Domains is the world’s largest wholesale domain registrar, responsible for maintaining the health, neutrality, and openness of an important—but largely invisible part of the Internet: the domain name system (DNS).

As part of Tucows—one of the world’s largest Internet companies—Tucows Domains has a rich history of helping make the Internet better, operating globally under the Ascio, Enom, Hover and OpenSRS brands.

We embrace a people-first philosophy that is rooted in respect, trust, and flexibility. We believe that whatever works for our employees is what works best for us. It’s also why the majority of our roles are remote-first, meaning you can work from anywhere you can connect to the Internet! Today, over one thousand people from over 20 countries are part of our team.

If this sounds exciting to you, join the herd!

About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and drive the continued growth of Hover—Tucows' consumer-facing domain registrar and one of the most trusted names in retail domain registration.

Hover serves hundreds of thousands of individual and small business customers, offering a clean, no-nonsense experience for buying and managing domain names and email. Built on top of OpenSRS and Enom, Hover operates as a reseller within the broader Tucows ecosystem and plays an important role in how Tucows engages directly with its resellers and end customers.

In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping Hover healthy, competitive, and evolving by maintaining and improving core product capabilities while ensuring a seamless customer experience. You'll also play a central role in a key strategic initiative: migrating Hover onto Tucows' next-generation reseller infrastructure, serving as the prototypical reseller implementation that will shape how that platform supports all future reseller partners.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives on balancing day-to-day product stewardship with meaningful long-term platform work.

Responsibilities:
  • Define, articulate, and own product requirements and contribute to the product vision and roadmap.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team including engineering, design, marketing, and support through the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Translate ideas into clear, actionable product requirements for technical teams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Measure and report on product performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience building platforms or solutions for B2C and/or online retail markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, technical products to market.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Nice to have:
  • Strong understanding of domain registration, DNS, internet infrastructure, and related industries.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian suite including Jira and Confluence.
  • Curiosity and familiarity with current AI tools including Claude, Rovo and others.

The base salary range for this position is $99,180 to $110,200. Range shown in $CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications. Tucows believes in a total rewards offering that includes fair compensation and generous benefits
