Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Payment Platforms team to lead the development and evolution of our Terminal Management products and Commercial Fleet Payment platform. This is a role that works with all partners to ensure our products are secure, scalable, and deliver exceptional user experiences for thousands of merchants across Canada.

You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, technology delivery, and go-to-market execution—helping guide innovation, usability, and performance across the portfolio.

We're looking for someone with experience in merchant acquiring or payment processing, fluency in payment hosts & gateway ecosystems, and the relationship management skills needed to collaborate across teams

If you have a passion for building resilient, secure, and forward-thinking payment infrastructure, we'd love to connect.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director of Product.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Contribute to Go-To-Market Strategy: Ensure alignment of product portfolios against overarching product and corporate strategies. Define and lead a 3 to 18 month roadmap for Terminal Management products and the Commercial Fleet Payment Platform including positioning, commercialization planning, sales enablement, and post-launch performance tracking.

  • Drive End-to-End Product Ownership: From ideation to launch, manage the full product lifecycle from ideation and validation through delivery, launch, and iteration to retiring outdated or redundant features

  • Maximize the value delivered; Ensure that the product backlog is aligned with customer needs. Leads in complex product delivery to support overall goals

  • Collaborate Across the Business: Work and build trust-based relationships with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure product readiness and customer-centric design.

  • Champion Agile Execution: Lead a cross-functional Agile team, manage the product backlog, guiding the Technical team, and ensure transparency and alignment across partners. Role models servant leadership by removing impediments to accelerate teams.

  • Develop solutions to address opportunities; gaps and requirements to maintain competitiveness of product offering, consulting on concepts with Technology, and developing comprehensive business cases to support decisions and prioritization.

  • Set and Measure OKRs: Establish clear objectives and key results to measure product success based on data and feedback

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends and regulatory environment to ensure Moneris remains a leader in secure payment authorization.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Product Management Expertise: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on merchant acquiring and payment processing. Experienced in applying both theoretical and practical product management principles, using a variety of tools and methodologies.

  • Technical Acumen: understanding of payment infrastructure, including Payment Hosts, Gateways, and Encryption technologies.

  • Partnership Experience: experience collaborating with external partners such as card networks, processors, and FinTech innovators to provide impactful solutions.

  • Agile Leadership: Expertise in Agile methodologies, with experience leading teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Strategic Execution: Can guide product roadmaps and gathering requirements, while promoting transparency through clear communication of strategy, vision, progress, and insights across partners.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passionate about solving complex problems and delivering exceptional user experiences through a customer-first approach.

  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with the ability to bring clarity and alignment across diverse teams.

  • Influential Communicator: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage partners at all levels.
