About Lendesk:
We’re a financial technology company on a mission to make the mortgage experience easy, accessible, and transparent. Our flagship product is an advanced digital mortgage origination platform that connects borrowers, brokers, and lenders. We’re a fast-growing team of 70+ employees, composed of innovative and engaged individuals working collaboratively to deliver a unique digital home buying experience.
At Lendesk, diversity is our strength. What makes us different, makes us stronger. We believe that a variety of backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, experiences, identities, and voices make for a better and inclusive workplace.
The Role
We are looking for a Product Manager (remote, residing in Canada). You'll own a meaningful slice of the product in a small, focused team: a Product Lead, a junior PM, and you. There's no sprawling org to navigate. What there is instead is a dynamic, fast-moving problem space, a steep industry learning curve, and a genuine need for someone who can walk into ambiguity and walk out with a clear direction.
The scope of what you own will evolve, shaped by where the business needs are highest and where your strengths are best applied. Early candidates for ownership include our analytics and growth practice, and contributing to and executing our strategy for moving upmarket toward credit unions and larger broker organizations. You won't be handed a pre-defined roadmap. You'll help build one.
You'll also play an informal mentorship role with our junior PM, and contribute to how the broader product team at Lendesk develops its craft particularly around how we leverage AI to work smarter.
About Jupiter
Jupiter is a new-to-market loan origination system built to make life easier for independent mortgage brokers in the United States. We're early, we're moving fast, and we have a clear goal: to be among the top three LOS platforms in the US small-to-medium broker market within the next two years.
This is a product that's still finding its shape which means the person who takes this role will have real influence over what it becomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute to strategy discussions for your product area, own the roadmap, and bring enough conviction to defend your decisions and enough curiosity to keep questioning them
- Build and maintain a signal system that captures insights from sales, customer service, product analytics, customer interviews, and industry research, then, turn those signals into clear, actionable recommendations
- Lead a cross-functional team through discovery, delivery, and iteration while keeping engineering, design, and business stakeholders aligned without losing momentum
- Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to plan and execute go-to-market motions for new features and product releases
- Develop and own growth analytics for your product area: define what success looks like, measure it rigorously, and use it to drive decisions
- Build genuine expertise in the US mortgage broker industry: the workflows, the regulations, the competitive dynamics, and the people
- Contribute to how product teams across Lendesk operate: sharing best practices, experimenting with AI-assisted workflows, and helping raise the bar on PM craft
What you’ll bring to the team:
This role is probably a strong fit if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience as a software product manager, with at least some of that time in environments where you had to create direction rather than receive it
- Are genuinely comfortable in ambiguity. Not just tolerant of it, but energized by the challenge of turning a messy problem into a clear path forward
- Have strong analytics instincts: you know how to instrument a product, interpret what the data is telling you, and make growth-oriented decisions from it
- Can earn trust across functions with engineers, executives, salespeople, and customers, through clear thinking and direct communication
- Are a fast, curious learner who can absorb a complex new domain (the US mortgage industry is one of them) without needing to know everything before you act
- Have enough technical fluency to work productively with engineers and understand the constraints they're working within
- Have the business judgment to evaluate opportunities, prioritize ruthlessly, and contribute to go-to-market planning and execution
Nice to have:
- Experience in fintech, mortgage, real estate, or an adjacent regulated industry
- Familiarity with AI tools in a product or workflow context
- A background in growth or product-led growth
- A business degree (BA or MBA) though we care more about how you think than where you studied
What We Offer:
- Competitive salaries
- Comprehensive benefit plan including dental, medical and vision
- Remote first, work from where you are in Canada
- Budget to improve your home office set-up
- Flexible work hours
- The latest in hardware and software tools
- Budget for continuous development and training
- Stock purchase program in our parent company (“NYSE:RKT”)
You must be a current Canadian resident to be considered for this role. A candidate selected for this position must pass a criminal background check.
Lendesk is committed to offering competitive salaries to all our team members. This role has a salary range of $89,500-$134,000 CAD. For experienced candidates, we typically hire at or near the midpoint of the salary band to ensure there’s room for continued growth and development. Compensation is determined based on the skills, experience, and qualifications you bring to the team, as well as the impact you will have on the business and the growth you’ll achieve in the role. Throughout your time at Lendesk we’ll continue to have conversations about your career development and you’ll have the opportunity to build an amazing career with us.
