As the Product Marketing Manager for Small Business Platforms, you will play a pivotal role in evolving the core features that accountants, bookkeepers, and small business owners rely on every day. You will take ownership of positioning and marketing global feature sets, ensuring that our core accounting workflows are not only efficient but provide clear, actionable value to our customers. By bridging the gap between complex product initiatives and customer needs, you will help grow adoption and ensure businesses have the tools they need to thrive.

Your work will directly contribute to a stronger global economy by empowering small businesses with sophisticated technology. You will become the go-to expert for priority customer segments, crafting clear propositions that resonate across multiple regions. By collaborating with product and go-to-market teams, you will turn technical innovations into compelling stories that drive real-world impact and help make running a business beautiful.

The team / how they connect

You will join a high-growth Product Marketing team specifically focused on our Small Business Platforms and the core Xero Blue accounting app. Based across Melbourne and San Mateo, this collaborative group works closely with product managers and designers to bring a holistic view of customer needs to the heart of our development process.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on
  • Launching and scaling critical, AI-powered updates to the core accounting engine, specifically focusing on Smart Document Capture and Automated Bank Reconciliation.

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive monetization strategy for these high-profile, AI-driven features.

  • Creating a full-funnel, 360-degree go-to-market plan that provides visibility from the c-suite to our global customer base.

  • Building internal sales enablement resources and product playbooks to upskill our global customer teams.

  • Experience working within an agile environment or a SaaS organisation helps you handle the pace and ambiguity of a fast-growing tech landscape.
