Summary of the role

As our Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how CoCounsel Legal is positioned and perceived in the market. You’ll partner closely with product, sales, customer success, and the broader marketing team to drive awareness, accelerate new sales growth, and strengthen client adoption and advocacy. From crafting compelling messaging to launching innovative solutions, you’ll be at the center of how we connect with our audience and elevate our brand. You will be a product subject matter expert and a chief storyteller, articulating clear, differentiated value propositions backed by strong competitive insights. You will also be an industry expert possessing a deep understanding of the AI legal market and our target personas. 

About the Role 
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will:  

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products, target markets, customer segments, and competitive landscape to inform go-to-market strategies. 
  • Execute integrated product marketing plans that align messaging, campaigns, content and go-to-market activities across channels to drive awareness, adoption and growth. 
  • Craft clear, compelling and differentiated messaging that resonates with target audiences and highlights our product’s value. 
  • Partner closely with customer success and sales to identify happy customers and turn them into advocates through testimonials, case studies and references. 
  • Create high-impact marketing assets, such as product brochures, sales enablement materials, customer case studies and videos, to support each stage of the buyer’s journey.  
  • Engage with our user and partner communities through events, digital channels, peer review sites and trade publications to strengthen loyalty and brand affinity. 
  • Act as the marketing launch linchpin that galvanizes internal support across all disciplines and drives demand for new innovations. 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, agility, strong prioritization, and customer obsession are essential for success. 

 

About You 

  • You're a strong fit for the Product Marketing Manager role if you have:  
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.  
  • 3+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience.  
  • Experience with product positioning, audience strategy development, and/or driving customer advocacy within a B2B omnichannel marketing organization.  
  • A track record of being results-oriented and building effective cross-functional relationships through strong interpersonal skills.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, align on share goals (such as product or feature launches) and ensure coordination throughout the process.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Knowledge of or experience in SaaS, legal software or related industries strongly preferred but not required.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $74,200 USD - $137,800 USD. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $79,000 CAD - $129,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
