About the Role

In this newly created role within the Product Marketing team, you will bridge the gap between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Your core mission is to lead customer and market research, decode competitor strategies, maintain total addressable market (TAM) analysis, and arm our customer-facing teams with high-impact sales enablement collateral for both our sales and customer success teams.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment that offers true ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to build from the ground up, LumiQ is for you.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Market Research, TAM Analysis & Insights

  • Customer & Internal Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on key buyer personas (Finance Leaders, CPAs, L&D leads). Lead internal discovery by interviewing Sales, CS, and current customers to refine product positioning and buyer journey maps.
  • TAM & Market Sizing: Continuously analyze and update TAM, SAM, and SOM calculations to identify growth accounts, segment target markets, and support geographical expansion.
  • GTM & Product Launch Support: Translate market and customer insights into messaging frameworks for segment messaging, sales enablement and targeted growth campaigns.
  • Industry Trends: Monitor compliance, content, and industry shifts in partnership with internal teams to keep the organization ahead of market changes.
  • Competitor Intelligence & Data Analysis

  • Competitive Tracking & Battlecards: Continuously track the CPE/CPD and corporate L&D landscape to build actionable battlecards, feature comparison matrices, and objection-handling guides.
  • Win/Loss & CRM Insights: Dig into Salesforce and deal data to analyze win/loss trends, evaluate messaging performance, and share findings company-wide.
  • Market Communications: Establish a systematic approach to share regular competitor and market updates with internal teams.
  • Sales/Customer Success Enablement & Collateral Creation

  • Asset Creation & Maintenance: Partner with the Senior PMM to build and update core sales tools, including pitch decks, one-pagers, buyer persona guides, case studies, infographics, and reports.
  • Content & Copy Support: Write and refine copy for sales/customer success assets, landing pages, thought leadership, and growth initiatives, ensuring all customer touch points reflect up-to-date messaging and brand guidelines.
  • Sales Alignment: Work closely with the sales team to identify buyer friction points and systematically test, analyze, and optimize collateral to shorten sales cycles.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in Product Marketing with a strong B2B SaaS experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated Research Capability: Hands-on experience conducting market research, customer interviews, and market sizing analyses.
  • Buyer Journey Expertise: Familiar with B2B buying committees, buyer personas, and complex sales cycles.
  • Data & AI Savvy: Comfortable digging into data, working with CRMs like Salesforce (or quick to learn), and leveraging modern AI tools (e.g., Claude) and design templates (e.g., Figma) to produce assets.
  • Writing & Communication: Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills with a track record of translating complex insights into clear, consumable content for both internal and external audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to build seamless relationships across Product, Sales, CS, Compliance, and Content production teams.

The expected base salary for this position is: CAD $75,000 - $85,000. Salary is based on a number of factors including market conditions, location and may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.

If you think your experience is most of the way there, we’d still love to meet you!

Please note this is a flexible hybrid role based out of Toronto, Canada. Employees will be expected to be able to commute to the office 2 times a week. However, for training & onboarding purposes, the in-office expectation time will increase.

Benefits and Perks:
- Health Benefits are available after 3 months with us, including a yearly health spending account. You'll also have access to an Employee Assistance Program for additional support if needed.
- Hybrid Work Style: The best of both worlds. Enjoy remote work and a downtown Toronto office with snacks, events, and ping pong.
- Monthly team social events: (Super Smash Bro party, hot chocolate bar, Blue Jays game, Hot One's Challenge are just a few examples of what we have done in the past).
- Schedule flexibility: We know our employees have lives outside of work and don’t mind if you need to run to a mid-day doctor's appointment or pick up a kid early from school!
- Nomad policy: Work remotely 4 weeks of the year from anywhere in the world.
