Job Overview:

Coursera is seeking a Product Operations Manager to streamline operations and support sustained growth. This role is central to refining strategy, optimizing product planning, and facilitating cross-team communication across Product, Design, and Engineering. The candidate will collaborate with our product and executive teams, contributing to our mission with their expertise in product management and operational strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational process, structure, and discipline of product planning across large cross-functional teams
  • Create scalable, durable processes that scale product operations across the company
  • Drive alignment between product strategies and business goals, collaborating with key stakeholders to optimize product operations.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional projects, ensuring clear communication and consensus among product teams and executives.
  • Facilitate effective information flow between product teams and senior leadership, tracking and reporting on project developments and strategic outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product operations or product management within a technology-focused organization.
  • Demonstrated history of leading and delivering complex product initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Background in product planning tools, frameworks, and processes
  • Experience in facilitating collaboration and driving consensus among cross-functional teams in a product development context.
  • Commitment to the mission of transforming lives through learning, as evidenced by previous work or projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management and resource allocation within a product development context.
  • Background in software development with an emphasis on building user-facing products
  • Proven track record in project or product management roles, with a history of achieving measurable results.
  • Experience in educational technology, online learning platforms, or a related domain is a plus.
