ABOUT THE TEAM

In this role, you will support the Altius business line by contributing your technical expertise and fostering strategic collaboration across various hardware and software development teams. As a valued member of our team, you will play an integral role in developing and testing innovative solutions designed to address real-world challenges. This position underscores the importance of an iterative approach to our operations - design, test, field, and refine - thereby driving continuous improvement of our systems and services.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own various approaches to achieve product development goals through end-to-end product testing and operating procedural definition.
  • Interface with internal operations and product teams to identify and solve system or product reliability issues.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing to establish robust QA matrices for our products.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency
  • Formulate and refine operational procedures and workflows.
  • Train colleagues on the procedures and workflows developed for new engineering capabilities.
  • Provide valuable feedback to engineering teams to improve product functionality.
  • Lead new project initiatives, focusing on product operations and user maintenance planning.
  • Architect and implement cutting-edge sustainment strategies for advanced defense systems
  • Spearhead the development of comprehensive lifecycle support plans for Anduril's innovative products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design for long-term supportability

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking. Ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution.
  • Experience working on advanced hardware systems.
  • Familiarity with government testing protocols, compliance, and regulations.
  • Experience with Aircraft Reliability Engineering
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to travel as required for planning and testing (30%).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical writing experience developing standards, specifications, user guides, and policies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and product lifecycle management tools
  • Aircraft, Spacecraft, or UAV Operations Experience.
  • Training experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years Industry Experience. 
  • Prior military or government agency exposure / experience preferred
US Salary Range
$91,800$137,700 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
