About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Senior Manager in Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) BSA/AML Program Execution team, part of WIM Risk, Regulatory and Financial Crimes Program Execution. The group is responsible for financial crimes risk coverage across WIM to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and operations. This role will manage and lead development, implementation and monitoring of business specific Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Assets and Control programs.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $279,000.00

This role will manage and lead development, implementation and monitoring of business specific Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Assets and Control programs.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop teams of specialists and to oversee moderate to highly complex activities associated with the development and implementation of business-specific programs, processes, and controls which identify, assess, monitor, measure, and mitigate risk
- Manage oversight of financial crimes related issues and corrective actions to ensure control deficiencies are effectively resolved
- Manage oversight of policy and procedure implementations - determine the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and control strategies
- Support regulatory exams, internal audits or Independent Risk Management reviews
- Determine appropriate strategies and actions, interpret and develop policies and procedures, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, initiatives, protocols, and deliverables
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers
- Engage and influence business heads, control management, risk, legal, and audit partners to successfully ensure appropriate management of business risk
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- 6+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- 6+ years of financial crimes experience with deep knowledge of regulations and requirements
- Issue Management experience, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning and monitoring ensuring on-time resolution of risk
- Experience with implementing Financial Crimes requirements within Wealth & Investment Management
- Experience identifying, mitigating and consulting around risk and regulations
- Experience successfully influencing, leading, and negotiating with executives, senior business leaders and partners to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
- Experience in understanding and documenting unfamiliar processes to identify key risks, identify and evaluate controls and provide consulting to remediate control deficiencies
- Experience creating presentation decks for different audiences that can outline/highlight the topic in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure appropriate and effective risk mitigation controls are in place
- Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with various levels of business partners including Senior leaders and executive management
- Experience in control, compliance, risk management, or a related job function/role
- Process risk and control assessment experience
- Analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex business issues quickly and be able to successfully explain to an independent third party
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to work independently in a virtual team environment where other team members, team management, and business partners are not local
