At Anaplan, we are seeking a Program Manager to join our Program and Portfolio Management Team (PPM) within the GPTO (Product and Technology) organization. This role is Full-Time and Hybrid, based in our Ottawa office for 2-3 days a week.
Our PPM team members are based in multiple locations, and we partner with a wide variety of stakeholders, including Engineering and Product, Finance, and Go-to-Market. Our role is to support our Engineering and Product Teams in delivering technical change across software, platform, and infrastructure. We pride ourselves on our friendly and approachable style and play an integral part in providing value to our customers. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end technical changes via programs of work in one or more of our delivery pillars. As an experienced program manager, you'll be comfortable taking responsibility for complex programs of work, and you'll be supported every step of the way by our knowledgeable team.

Your Impact:
- Partnering up with engineering teams to help plan, develop, and release value to our customers
- Providing insight by helping your teams to track metrics that align to business outcomes
- Improving our processes, practices, and culture so that we are at the top of our Agile game
- Building and maintaining dashboards in Jira and Confluence that show us where we are at and if we are going to achieve our objectives
- Driving common approaches that make it simpler for the teams and leaders, allowing them to focus on the big-picture problems
Your Qualifications:
- Practical experience in delivering cross-functional programs in a fast-paced setting
- Project or Program Management Qualifications (PRINCE2, PMP, SAFE or other equivalent)
- Experience in partnering with Agile teams in a delivery role
- Passionate about problem-solving and making a difference
- Team-focused – enthusiastic, approachable, collaborative, knowledgeable, and flexible.
- Strong history of using data to drive decisions
- Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead via influence in cross-functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills, in particular communicating technical concepts between audiences of varying backgrounds
- Experience with change management, in particular, new process definition/rollout
Bonus points:
- Experience of working with Atlassian suite products; Jira, Jira Align & Confluence
- Formal Scrum or Agile Qualifications
- Experience with managing software delivery, continuous integration, and delivery pipelines
