Job Description

We are establishing a pool of qualified candidates to fill level 1,2 and 3 project coordiator consultant roles to be filled on as needed basis.

Qualifications

The applicant must have 5 plus years experience in many of the following areas:

  • Assisting  project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users

in project coordination and synchronization tasks;

  • Providing administrative and technical support of a clerical nature as required to a project team;
  • Assist in performing such tasks as maintaining project documentation and application/system

libraries;

  • Acting as the first or single point of contact in a "hot-line" situation by accepting incoming calls,

logging calls, attempting to resolve simple problems and following established procedures for

more difficult problems;

  • Tracking project change requests information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports,correspondence;
  • Using computer tools, aids, system control languages on PCs, minis, or mainframes to perform

work;

  • Communicating with project management and data processing professionals, technical users

and end users on administrative matters related to the project;

Additional Information

The candidate should have a valid clearance of enhanced or greater issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada.
