Job Description Summary:
Role Overview: Serve as a crucial liaison between clients and Thermo Fisher's Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS), ensuring seamless fulfillment of client needs and business objectives. Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
Project Management:
- Independently manage 6-10 PDS projects from pre-formulation onwards.
- Resolve project issues and resource constraints.
- Foster positive team interactions and manage conflict.
- Standardize project reporting to clients and management.
Business Management:
- Plan, monitor, and complete activities outlined in client quotes.
- Prepare amendments for scope changes.
- Maintain client timelines and achievements.
- Contribute to monthly forecasts and revenue tracking.
Client Management:
- Manage client expectations for high satisfaction.
- Mitigate project risks and balance client/internal requirements.
People Management:
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Manage Lead Administrative Coordinators and Project Coordinators.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Lead initiatives for PDS and clients.
- Collaborate with site management to optimize project portfolios.
- Explore strategies to boost department efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma in a related field; Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, or Business preferred.
- Minimum 8 years industry experience; 5 years in project/client management.
- Minimum 3 years experience leading product development teams and managing direct reports.
- PMP certification advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, Change Point, Salesforce, MySupply, and database management.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and proficiency in English.

- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Engage in departmental systems for smooth workflow.
- Identify areas for improvement and problem-solving.

Physical Requirements:
