About the role

At Intact, we are at the forefront of launching innovative initiatives designed to drive our performance. Our growing team is committed to delivering strategic projects that align with our company's goals and mission. To support these key projects, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in initiating and executing multiple projects, collaborating closely with managers to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Your influence and strategic vision will drive collaboration across multiple teams and ensure effective project delivery.

 

What you’ll do here:

  • Project Initiation and Planning: Lead the scoping, planning, and initiation of projects, providing clarity and structure to ensure projects start on the right foot. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that include deliverables, timelines, costs, and resource capacity planning.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute project plans, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including presenting project updates and results to senior executives.

  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies and ensuring governance is in place for timely resolution.

  • Project Monitoring: Facilitate project meetings, create and deliver presentations on project milestones, budget expenditures, and status updates, and ensure project progress aligns with corporate standards.

  • Methodology and Tools: Ensure the appropriate project management methodologies are applied throughout the project lifecycle and provide the team with the tools they need to succeed.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Project Manager role, and a total of 5 years of experience in project management.

  • Experience working in a large company, with successful management of complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and multifaceted processes.

  • Strong proficiency in Agile methodology and project management tools, including the MS Office Suite, JIRA, and Confluence.

  • A clear strategic vision with the ability to influence and manage change through effective communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and motivational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and negotiate to achieve project consensus and support.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
