Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Water Resources team in Ontario. The successful candidate will have a strong background in water resources engineering and a passion for leading projects and growing the business. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality technical work, and supporting business development efforts across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of water resources projects from planning through to detailed design and construction tendering.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental specialists.
  • Develop and review detailed designs, technical reports, and tender documents.
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and risks, and ensure quality and client satisfaction.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, including scope development, fee estimates, and client presentations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and help identify and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; P.Eng. in Ontario required.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in water resources engineering, with demonstrated project management responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with drainage, stormwater management, flood mitigation, and/or related infrastructure projects.
  • Experience delivering municipal infrastructure design projects, including preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage clients, budgets, teams, and timelines.
  • Eager to take initiative, grow into a leadership role, and contribute to business development.
  • PMP certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement and municipal standards in Ontario.
  • Experience with hydraulic/hydrologic modeling tools is an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in developing new client relationships and market sectors.
