At Haven Headache and Migraine Center, we're building the future of headache care—one virtual visit at a time. Co-founded by board-certified headache specialists, Haven is a virtual-first specialty clinic dedicated exclusively to patients with migraine and headache disorders. We believe expert care should be accessible, compassionate, and designed for the real lives of the millions living with headache disorders.
🚀 About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Provider Partnerships Manager (Territory Sales Manager) to establish our clinician referral network in Orange County, California. The Provider Partnerships Manager will build relationships with healthcare providers in the designated territory, educate on Haven’s clinical offerings, and drive consistent referrals of qualifying patients to Haven.

This is a unique chance to play a key role in establishing the commercial foundation of a fast-growing, mission-driven startup. If you value independence and creativity in how you manage your territory, are excited about building - rather than simply following - a playbook, and have documented success launching new products or territories, you will thrive in this role
💼 What You’ll Do

As our first Provider Partnerships Manager in Orange County, you won't just be following a script—you’ll be building the playbook. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be the face of Haven in the field, responsible for the full sales cycle from initial outreach to long-term relationship management. You will spend roughly 80% of your time (4 days a week) in the local market, transforming how area providers view headache care and ensuring Haven is their first choice for patient referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Territory Ownership: You will identify, qualify, and nurture a high-value clinician referral network. Using our provided lead lists and your own route-planning expertise, you’ll execute field-based activities—from discovery meetings to "lunch and learns"—to meet and exceed referral KPIs.

  • Brand Ambassadorship & Education: You’ll serve as a clinical and tech-savvy resource for healthcare systems, educating providers on our virtual-first model and AI-enabled monitoring. You will represent Haven’s values at local medical conferences and networking events, ensuring every interaction adds value to the provider's practice.

  • Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop: As our "eyes and ears" on the ground, you will document all field activity in our CRM while providing the leadership team with critical market insights. You’ll influence our marketing materials and patient experience by relaying real-world feedback from the providers and staff you meet.

👩‍⚕️Who You Are

  • Experienced Healthcare Closer: You bring at least 3 years of experience selling to healthcare providers (BD, Sales, or Partnerships) with a documented track record of smashing quotas in competitive markets.

  • Strategic & Tech-Savvy Builder: You thrive in "Series B or earlier" environments and love building your own playbook. You are proficient with CRM tools and virtual stacks (Zoom, Slack, G-Suite), using them to manage a tight sales funnel and navigate market ambiguity.

  • Relationship Architect: You possess the business acumen to navigate complex medical offices, the persuasion skills to win over stakeholders, and the commitment to add genuine value to a provider’s practice with every interaction.

  • Agile & Autonomous Professional: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, we value equivalent professional experience and a proven "hunter" mentality. You are a self-starter who can efficiently allocate resources and pivot as our clinical offerings evolve.

  • Mobile & Reliable: You are based in Orange County with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to manage a consistent 4-day-per-week local field schedule.

Why Join Haven

  • Competitive Pay & Field Support: Earn $150k–$180k On-Target Earnings (Base + Commission) with full coverage for your field work, including a company card for provider engagement, IRS-rate mileage reimbursement, and a $65/month cell phone stipend. This full time role also has full benefits like medical, 401K, and unlimited PTO.

  • Startup Autonomy & Growth: Skip the micromanagement and build your own territory playbook; you’ll report to the COO in a high-impact role where your field insights shape the company's growth and your path toward future sales leadership.

  • Mission-Driven Impact: Join a venture-backed team that delivers a 70% improvement rate for migraine sufferers, providing expert care to patients who have often gone years without relief.

📍 Location

This is a full time, in-market role and you must be located in the Orange County, CA area. While our HQ is located in San Francisco, this role is based in Orange County, CA.
Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity is built into our DNA with a founding team representing POC, female, disabled, and LGBTQ+ founders. We strongly encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply - many successful candidates may not meet every requirement. Studies show underrepresented candidates often only apply when meeting 100% of qualifications; we'd love to hear from you even if you don't check every box.
