The Manager, Provincial Product Analytics Manager supports the team in achieving profit and growth targets across all provinces by developing business strategy through data and analytics. This role leads a team of analytical employees who equip the Provincial Senior Managers with sound analytical analyses and insights.
Accountabilities:
- Provides coaching and development to direct reports
- Utilizes analytics to develop new insights and understanding of business performance and make recommendations of product actions on a countrywide and provincial basis
- Proactively leads the identification, development, and execution of post implementation evaluation of strategies to address challenges and maximize opportunities of medium/high complexity; provides recommendations for adjustments as warranted
- Leads the collaboration and integration within product and with other key stakeholders to develop analysis, make recommendations, and drive understanding/engagement to support strategies
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of insurance product experience
- 5+ years of analytical experience
- 2+ years of people leadership
- Extensive product, price, risk management and insurance regulation knowledge
- Ability to manage and develop analytical employees
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge in the use and ability to learn a wide variety of tools, data sources, and computer applications
- Advanced communication skills, including the ability to present written and verbal interpretations of highly specialized terms and data to multidisciplinary groups and various organizational levels
