The Role

As a QA Engineer at, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications. You’ll focus on building robust automated tests and strengthening API testing processes while still performing hands-on functional validation when needed.

Working closely with developers, product managers, and designers, you’ll help identify issues early, expand test coverage, and implement scalable testing strategies that guarantee a smooth and stable user experience.

Your role will be essential in detecting bugs, verifying feature implementations, automating tests, and validating software stability before deployment.

  • This is a fully onsite position, based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are open to support with relocation efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure a seamless user experience.

  • Perform API tests and automation using Postman.

  • Creating and maintaining Postman documentation.

  • Create and execute automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests.

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Document and report bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues.

  • Ensure feature compliance by validating product requirements against test results.

  • Identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and performance issues.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Provide clear and structured feedback to enhance product functionality and user experience.

  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to quality assurance best practices.

Requirements
  • Around 3+ years of experience in manual and functional testing.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.

  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).

  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright).

  • Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Bugzilla).

  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify complex usability issues.

  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman).

  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
