You will be working with multiple teams to help define our cybersecurity roadmap and strategy and execute against the plan. The scope of your activities will cover cybersecurity product and service realization in all its lifecycle stages including requirements capture, customer engagements, engineering engagement, marketing support, customer communication and sales support related to cybersecurity.

You will have a strong technical background and have recent experience in an automotive or embedded systems with a cybersecurity focus. You will know what a world-leading cybersecurity portfolio looks like as well as understanding the key challenges our customers are looking to address.

This role includes both product management and product marketing responsibilities. This includes leading products throughout the entire product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing customer and market requirements, defining and evangelizing the product roadmap and vision, and working closely with engineering and customers on an ongoing basis to deliver winning products.

You will:

  • Work with Engineering, Legal, Finance and other groups to determine QNX cybersecurity products, features and services from inception to general availability, participating and leading cross-functional initiatives as required.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to perform market and customer needs analysis to develop market opportunity assessments and business model proposals related to cybersecurity.
  • Articulate and foster the value proposition for our cybersecurity products and services to customers and key external partners.
  • Develop sales enablement tools such as white papers, presentations, competitive analysis, and content to support the selling process.
  • Be the prime for webinars, tradeshows, customer / prospect meetings and other outbound events

You will have:

  • Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity standards: ISO 21434, IEC 62443, Cybersecurity Resilience Act, NIAP regulations etc.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity topics such as SBOM, CVE management and related standards and regulations.
  • Recent embedded experience with ARM or x86-based embedded device software.
  • Embedded software development experience with C, C++.
  • Significant product management experience for electronic systems and/or other IoT embedded devices.
  • The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Accomplished experience developing a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap   
  • Proven experience in influencing and inspiring cross-functional teams to achieve product goals 
  • Proven ability and desire to constantly learn and embrace technologies.
  • Experience engaging with automotive and general embedded customers at an engineering and business level.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent technical degree or diploma.
