Support the regional Quality Manager with quality and internal audit activities: prepare quality deliverables, assist incident reporting, plan/execute audits, track and close non-conformances, monitor operational metrics, perform root-cause analysis, and help design corrective action plans.
SUMMARY
The Quality Analyst is accountable for supporting the regional Quality Manager with their day-to-day quality and internal audit activities
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting
- Provides support with the preparation and submission of quality deliverables;
- Provides support and guidance to the operational team with the incident reporting process;
- Supports the QM with the planning, execution and reporting of internal audits and provides audit and management reports in accordance with contractual requirements and the internal methodology;
Internal Document Control
- Assists the Quality Manager (QM) with their required tasks, incorporating both support of client quality monitoring activities and internal audit activities to achieve client and contract requirements;
- Provides support for the recording, tracking and closing of non-conformances;
- Provides support and guidance to the operational team with their policies, processes, work instructions and forms to ensure information is presented in a cohesive, organized, consistent, and timely manner;
- Monitors operational data metrics to help identify opportunities for improvement within the Region and provides guidance and support on root cause analysis and on the design of robust action plans to improve quality activities;
- Other quality and internal audit duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- More than one year up to three years of job related experience
- University graduation or professional certification in a related field
- Knowledge of quality management systems and practices;
- Knowledge of internal audit and continuous improvement;
- Thorough understanding of business process optimization;
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
- Data reporting, verification and analysis skills; attention to relevant detail is an important asset;
- Effective written and communication skills;
- Problem solving skills.
This is a full-time contract position with an hourly rate of $27.79 - $34.73. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education, professional designations and performance related to this role.
