Reviews technical specifications, creates test plans and automation scripts, identifies and tracks bugs, analyzes root causes, monitors debugging, and coordinates testing activities. Overview
- Manual and virtual testing on a variety of devices.
- Documentation of test results for the software development team.
- Create tests to identify software problems.
- Motivate the development process for performance & efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements & trends.
- Works alongside software developers to improve & enhance programs.
- Analyze errors & bugs found during tests.
- Research and compare similar competitor products
- Review specifications requirements, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Estimate, plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Communicate with internal teams to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Basic JavaScript Skills.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Cypress.
- Good knowledge of database systems and scripting.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
