Supervisory Role:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of quality technicians and auditors.
- Ensure proper training, performance evaluation, and development of team members.
- Schedule and assign inspection tasks across shifts, ensuring coverage for 2nd or 3rd shift operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within die casting or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP).
- Familiarity with automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Experience supervising or leading quality teams is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting with exposure to die casting operations.
- May require standing for extended periods and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Shift flexibility is essential to support production needs.
