As a Quant Analytics Associate on the Commerce Enablement Controls Analytics team, you will work closely with Product Owners and leads to deliver insights in terms of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. You will strive to build consensus with Product Owners on if, where, when, how, and whom to drive customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports.

Job responsibilities
- Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
- Synthesize data from a number of different sources to identify meaningful trends and patterns
- Create data points using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy
- Rationalize complex normalized data sets allowing for ease of cross-org consumption
- Work directly with business partners across multiple functional organizations to evaluate needs, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and present a compelling story to stakeholders for decision making
- Leverage expertise in in the production, optimization and automation of recurrent reports
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related field and 3 years of experience in an advanced analytics role
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx and Tableau
- Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle and SQL DBs
- Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertise
- Intellectually curious and eager to learn new things with an eye for innovation
- Able to demonstrate initiative and complete projects and tasks independently
- Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Operational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platforms
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or finance
- Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to pull data using multiple joins, sub-queries, and advanced functions in an enterprise-scale database environment (Teradata, Hadoop, AWS, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and data wrangling tools such as SAS EG, SAS Viya, Python, Snowflake and Alteryx is key
- Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation (Tableau preferred)
- Adobe Analytics knowledge
