The Queen’s Biomedical Innovation Team (QBiT) is an interdisciplinary design team that designs, prototypes, and tests innovative biomedical devices to address healthcare concerns both globally and within our local community.

Position Description: 

One Chief Communications Officer (CCO) will be hired. The role of the CCO is to oversee QBiT’s external communications, public branding, outreach initiatives, and team events. 

The CCO will oversee the Director of Marketing and Director of Outreach.  

Applicants not selected for CCO may automatically be considered for Director of Marketing or Director of Outreach. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing QBiT’s communications and branding strategy, including social media, website content, and outreach 
  • Supporting the Director of Marketing in maintaining QBiT’s online presence and promotional materials 
  • Supporting the Director of Outreach in organizing community engagement and team events 
  • Maintaining relationships with other university clubs, organizations, and external partners 
  • Helping coordinate social events for executive and general members 
  • Regularly attending executive meetings and providing updates 
  • Overseeing the Director of Marketing and Director of Outreach

  • Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities 
  • Creatively oriented and organized 
  • Willing to take initiative outside of regular meeting times to promote QBiT and build relationships

Interviews will take place during June 21st, June 26th, June 27th and June 28th .
