What this job involves:

JLL is hiring a receptionist for one of it's global technology clients located in Nepean. As Receptionist, you'll create exceptional first impressions by delivering outstanding service to clients, guests, and employees. This dynamic, client-facing position is perfect for hospitality-focused professionals who thrive on connection and excel at creating memorable workplace experiences. You will be part of the Facilities Management team ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for the client's employees and guests.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Guest Experience & Reception Warmly welcome and assist all visitors, employees, and callers with professionalism and enthusiasm. Manage arrivals, departures, office orientations, and badging processes while serving as the central information hub for campus services and wayfinding.
  • Environment & Operations Maintain pristine front desk, lobby, and common areas that reflect brand standards. Process mail and deliveries, coordinate with facilities management teams, and proactively prepare for meetings and events to ensure seamless operations.
  • Problem-Solving & Collaboration Anticipate needs, identify issues, and deliver creative solutions. Create work orders for maintenance and safety concerns, monitor service standards, and work cross-functionally to address challenges before they arise. Escalate potential security or safety risks appropriately to protect operations.
  • Administrative Support Provide flexible support for ad hoc assignments and administrative tasks, ensuring timely service delivery across reception and general facilities functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years in customer service, hospitality, or security-related roles
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of information technology tools and platforms
  • Ability to handle light physical tasks including carrying small packages

Estimated compensation for this position:

50,000.00 – 50,000.00 CAD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.

On-site –Nepean, ON, Ottawa, ON
