Job Summary
As owner of the regional business results, you will work with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Innovation, Regulatory and other relevant stakeholders to assure alignment of product and functional execution plans to drive revenue and profit growth.
There is position location flexibility in any Western European country.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for profitable sales growth for assigned product groups in Cellulosics (MCC and CMC) in EMEA.
- Translate global product strategy into regional execution plans by category / industry.
- Translate value propositions into market opportunities, co-drives SFDC pipeline and supports account managers in converting opportunities.
- Represent the portfolio in Category / Industry Growth Teams: Communicates agenda, priorities and ‘sells’ market opportunities to secure support.
- Provide clear guidance to Sales on priorities.
- Execute regional pricing strategy.
Metrics/ KPI
- Product line revenue and profit for defined areas (category / industry, sub-region)
- SFDC opportunity pipeline metrics (e.g., stage-adjusted revenue, conversion)
- Monthly outlook accuracy

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in food science or related science. Alternatively, minimum bachelor's degree in business with 5+ years in a science related organization.
- Strong record of 5+ years in application science, innovation, product management, or business development role is preferred.
- Portfolio management skills and ability to ‘switch hats’ between product management and sales perspective in a matrix organization
- Strong business acumen and financial analytical skills. Technical acumen in hydrocolloids/stabilizers is a plus.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
- High degree of autonomy and self-driven
- Opportunity and results driven with a can-do attitude (“getting things done”)
- Prioritization, complexity management, and an ability to communicate across various levels of the organization.
