We are seeking a talented and experienced Regional Product Manager to join our team at Nokia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing products and services for key North American customers, focusing on optical networking solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping Nokia's roadmap to meet customer expectations and drive business growth.
Responsibilities- Manage products for North American customers, ensuring Nokia's roadmap aligns with their network evolution.
- Discuss and understand customer needs, collecting feature requests from sales and customers to address roadmap gaps.
- Prioritize feature requests across North America and other regions for maximum impact.
- Provide innovative network solutions to meet and exceed customer business needs.
- Collaborate with sales and commercial teams on pricing strategies and customer pricing approvals.
- Support sales regions in achieving their bookings targets and ensure overall profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to the team.
- Work closely with account teams to understand customer requirements and provide solutions.
- Document and present product strategies and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Optical Networking, with at least 5 years in a product management role.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills, with a proven track record in building relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel within North America and internationally as required.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using product management tools and techniques.
- Understanding of optical networking technologies and industry standards.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for technology and customer success.
