AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $32.84 ou/or $51.75 (Sept. 2025 - Aug. 2026)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable feminist graduate student to support the planning, promotion, and delivery of events throughout the Fall and Winter terms. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, creating a welcoming event environment, and helping build participation within feminist student communities. Events will be held at uOttawa as well as off campus including downtown Ottawa and Carleton University.

The Event Assistant will help with a variety of event-related activities, including:

·  Attending events and assisting with food and refreshment setup before events.

·  Helping with cleanup and returning event spaces to their original condition.

·  Supporting accessibility, ticketing, check-in, and registration at events.

·  Promoting upcoming events through student communities, clubs, classes, social media, and other appropriate channels.

·  Sharing event information with students and encouraging participation.

·  Assisting with event setup, signage, materials, and other logistical needs.

·  Providing friendly, inclusive and welcoming support to students and event attendees.

·  Helping with other event-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Student must be enrolled in an IFGS graduate program
