How you’ll make an impact
Bring your technology and information risk expertise to help evolve FCC’s risk practices, acting as a detail‑oriented, hands-on and execution‑focused contributor who translates complex technical concepts into practical insights for stakeholders.
As a Risk Specialist, you’ll conduct risk analysis, evaluate control effectiveness, assess risk treatment plans, create risk reports and research and apply industry best practices to ensure effective management of technology and information risk. You’ll help leaders understand how evolving and emerging risks affect FCC’s strategic objectives and support informed decision-making through clear, well-articulated risk insights. While collaborating with key risk management partners, including senior leaders, you’ll provide risk insights and recommendations to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

What you’ll do
Work with stakeholders and partners to understand, assess, manage and report on risks
Provide effective challenge on first-line policies, standards, initiatives, and controls
Translate complex technical topics into clear, business-focused insights for senior leaders
Participate in and support the development of risk governance artifacts and processes
Use expertise, research and analysis to advance FCC’s methodologies to manage technology and information risk
What you’ll bring to the team
Required Qualifications:
At least four years of experience in technology or data management fields (i.e., IT operations, development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, architecture, or data governance)
A degree in engineering, science, or business administration (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including communication with senior leadership
Demonstrated effective stakeholder engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
Governance, risk and/or compliance experience, including effective challenge, risk reporting, emerging technology risk, risk quantification and process automation
Experience in the agricultural or financial sectors
Experience with IT industry standards and frameworks
Certifications related to technology, information and third-party risk management, such as CRISC, CISM and CISA
Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
