We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Growth team and help scale our inbound and outbound engine! You’ll be responsible for leveraging our ever-evolving playbook to book qualified meetings (demos) with companies that fit our customer profile.
If you are hard-working, hungry to learn, competitive, and want your performance to have a direct impact on your career progression (and take-home pay), this is the role for you.

A day in the life:
1. Show up on time every morning, with an organized plan for who you’re prospecting/following up with that day
2. Be online at all working hours of the day in our virtual co-working office
3. Respond to any replies, messages, and leads that have come in overnight to get demos booked
4. Conduct research on and reach out to target accounts and prospects
5. Review the performance/metrics of your work to identify areas of improvement
6. Share creative ideas with the team on how to drive better outcomes
7. Spend the time to understand the product 1% better every. single. day.
8. Reach out for feedback and help whenever you need it
9. Celebrate the wins as a team every day, big or small

This role will be challenging and will test your grit, but if you’re up for it, you will learn faster than in other similar roles.

A bit about the team
We are here to do what it takes to build the engine that will take Paragon to the next stage of growth. In practice, that means we are constantly looking for ways to improve our growth strategy, which requires everyone to share and test new ideas, challenge existing approaches, and rely on data to drive decisions.

To be considered for this role, you must apply through Lever, and include a 2 minute video* of you selling a piece of technology (anything technology related): https://jobs.lever.co/useparagon.com/

*You can use Loom.com to film the video, and include the link under 'Why do you think you're a good fit for this role' in the screening questions.

  • Ensure proper handoff of prospects to account executives, and equip them with context and research on the prospect
  • Become a subject-matter expert on native SaaS integrations
  • Stay up-to-date on prospects’ companies news to strike when timing is right
  • Use our CRM (Salesforce) and other tools to manage the end to end sales cycle and documentation
  • Provide weekly reports on sales activities and results to the team

Requirements and Skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to understand technical concepts (APIs, integrations, different softwares)
  • Ability to handle objections from customers and push back
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, hungry, and curious about everything
  • Hold yourself to a high degree of accountability
  • Ability to be a sharp shooter independently, while collaborating with a team
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes and the needs of the business
