Sales Excellence Specialist

**This role will be primarily Remote, but you will need to come into our Toronto office as needed. **

Convera is seeking someone who is self-motivated, data-driven, and an articulate team player to join our Sales Growth and Enablement Team as a Sales Excellence Specialist (Inbound). You will serve as the bridge between marketing and sales focusing on inbound lead enrichment, hygiene, nurture, and qualification to drive high-quality top-of-funnel pipeline growth. This role will leverage our sales tech, marketing assets/content, and insights to engage with inbound leads through digital channels, assessing needs, qualifying interest, and determining readiness for handoff to Sales. This is a critical role for ensuring our sellers are enabled, efficient, and empowered to win.

The Sales Excellence Specialist will work collaboratively with Sales, Product Marketing, and Enablement making this an ideal entry point within B2B payments software and understand Convera’s value proposition and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Pipeline Support: Monitor inbound lead queue and follow up diligently to meet response time SLAs, ensuring “no lead is left behind”.
  • Lead Enrichment & Hygiene: Improve pipeline quality by maintaining clean and up-to-date records in Salesforce, performing enrichment, and hygiene improving outreach targeting.
  • Lead Nurture and Qualification: Leverage Salesforce Sales Engagement module to manage lead outreach at scale through structured digital nurture cadences with marketing assets to ensure qualified leads are handed over to Sales.
  • Secure Quality Meetings: Meet KPIs by securing quality meetings for our Sales teams around the world, ensuring smooth meeting handovers, allowing Sales to prepare for more in-depth conversations with leads.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Sales Enablement to refine cadences, content mapping, and ways of working.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 15 months’ experience in customer-facing lead generation or junior sales roles, ideally with knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX), Payments and Technology.
  • Goal-oriented: Demonstrated success in meeting deadlines and monthly KPI targets (e.g., initial time to outreach, # Sales meetings booked, # leads in cadences, etc.)
  • Tech Savvy: Awareness of Salesforce.com, marketing automation platforms, and other digital sales tools.
  • Process Focused: Demonstrated knowledge of lead generation and sales pipeline building. Ability to enhance processes and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with strong written communication abilities, and a knack for crafting compelling message responses.
  • Time Management: A strong work ethic, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Growth Minded: Ability to work independently and bring fresh ideas to optimize digital touchpoints and enhance lead engagement processes. Identify and suggest improvements for lead handling and qualification. Must be comfortable with ambiguity.
