About the Position:
Bizrate Insights is looking for a Sales Director to join our newly formed Sales team. This person will be a player/coach, starting as an individual contributor and later building the department, all while working closely with internal teams.
As a foundational member of the sales team, you will identify white spaces, create target lists, and work with Marketing to help develop outreach strategies. As an individual contributor, you are a full-stack salesperson – onwing your territory by creating and closing net new opportunities with success measured by new revenue, overall client adoption & logos delivered.
A successful candidate will need to apply their strong solution-selling skills and extensive sales experience to close deals with companies of all sizes. You will build and cultivate strategies and tactics that drive maximum performance across the entire sales cycle while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure we create and provide solutions that clients need. You will hire and build a sales team based on the processes you define.
The ideal candidate is comfortable and eager to be selling hands-on sales and leading a team, bringing with them a sales methodology, viewpoint, and experience in ecommerce, retail, or SaaS.

About the Position's Contributions:
- Drive the entire sales cycle from inception to close, for both yourself and your team
- Be a hunter by discovering and fostering your own leads, utilizing online and offline resources
- Reach key decision-makers in order to sell Bizrate’s mission, platform, and solutions
- Complete outbound sales outreach, including calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person connections across multiple verticals
- Proactively maintain your pipeline via Salesforce
- Achieve and exceed sales goals
- Drive net new logo acquisition
- Build and manage a growing sales team
About Your Contributions:
- 7+ years of high performance with a proven track record of selling high-value solutions; SaaS, market research, customer feedback, and insights experience are a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experienced with both Enterprise and Transactional sales, including running deals across multiple internal stakeholders/departments
- Professional client-facing skills. Polished, articulate & credible when communicating with clients, and displays a full comprehension of client’s business and needs
- A true solution seller with a burning desire to uncover and understand client’s problems and create the right solution in order to solve them
- A creative and curious mind that leverages creative problem-solving skills to uncover and develop new ideas and revenue opportunities for the organization.
- A proven track record of selling into and building credible relationships at the ‘C’ level as well as throughout the organization.
- Experience and deep understanding of ecommerce, retail, CPG, and/or SaaS solutions; experience with surveys, analytics, market research, and consumer insights are a plus.
- Strong technical skills with sales tools including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Gong, Salesforce, and Hubspot.
