You are:
A growth-focused sales professional who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion. You know – and have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit, and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise. You develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by utilizing a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging the latest cloud-based technologies.

As a Sales Capture, Senior Manager, you will be responsible for shaping, selling, and closing large deals that are single or multi-service. Close sales opportunities resulting in profitable sales growth by leading opportunities from qualification to deal close using deep sales process skills and expertise in Accenture’s offerings. You will play a role in originating opportunities in addition to qualification, shaping, selling, negotiating, and closing.

The work:

  • Create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.

  • Interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture, determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans and relationships, and apply industry-leading Workday transformation strategies and practices.

  • Have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

  • Operate within large teams and direct specific team sales activities.

  • Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

What you need:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in closing/capturing new Workday Technical Services opportunities across a variety of industries.

  • Experience selling or delivering Workday (HCM, Financials, Adaptive Planning, Prism Analytics) transformations.

  • Understanding of Workday implementation cycles, value cases, and program risk points.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct sales with quota preferably in excess of $10M+.

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.

  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement. 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Strong relationships within Workday (product teams, sales).

  • Deep capability or understanding in one Workday domain: HCM, Financials, Adaptive Planning, etc. is preferred.

  • Experience working within G2000 customers.

  • Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management.

  • Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian.

  • High energy level, focus, and ability to work well in demanding client environments.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The recruiting efforts for this position are intended to fill a brand-new position. The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.

It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
