Position Overview:
As a Sales Rep – Commercial Accts aligned with our Digital Security Enterprise Accounts team, you will be the first point of contact for our potential customers, by telephone, chat and e-mail. In this Inside Sales role, you will achieve assigned sales objectives focusing on a defined set of solutions within Entrust’s entire portfolio of Digital Security solutions in North America.
The Sales Rep will develop a pipeline of new business opportunities and will be responsible for identifying, engaging, managing, and closing opportunities. The role will require significant collaboration with matrixed team members within Entrust. The Sales Rep will be accountable for the follow responsibilities detailed below, and other duties as assigned:
This position will work a hybrid office/remote schedule and can be located in either Ottawa, Canada or Shakopee, MN.
Responsibilities:

Day-to-day targeting, soliciting and closing of new business through cold calling, leveraging existing customers, inbound leads, following-up on referrals and collaborating with sales executives in other territories or solution segments

Taking sole responsibility and ownership for analyzing market opportunities, growing net new business, development of sales strategies, and forecasting within your territory

Accurately and timely maintaining pipeline in CRM (Salesforce) and reporting customer feedback on product enhancements to the broader team during weekly sales meetings
Basic Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience selling products/services in the IT/Data Security market space
-
Succeeded in a fast paced and competitive market having had ownership of prospecting.
-
Experience with pipeline build and maintaining pipeline health
-
The ability to build rapport and relationships with large customers
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Experience with researching market trends and generating more sales
-
Experience in carrying a quota and consistently hitting sales targets
-
A disciplined, methodical and process driven sales approach – you’ll be skilled in managing time and resources; have a sound approach to qualifying opportunities coupled with strong business acumen
-
A strong desire to be successful, you’ll be a goal-oriented team player
-
The adaptability required to succeed in a fast paced, high growth environment to establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders

An active interest in the importance and value of identity

Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM

Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, and colleagues

Proven expertise in relationship management with customers and/or other stakeholders

Must be customer-focused and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Must be able to lawfully work within Canada and have unrestricted work authorization for Canada if located in Canada. Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for the US if located in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability to consistently over-achieve targets.

Previous success prospecting, building a solid pipeline of opportunities, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, and presenting and discussing solutions with key decisions-makers.

Strong understanding of sales cycle, and post-sales follow-up.

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $25.36-$37.19 per hour (in the primary posting location). This position is also eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience and actual performance against the assigned sales compensation plan.
