PLEASE NOTE: This hybrid position is 4 days/week at our Downtown Toronto Head Office (Mondays to Thursdays) and Fridays (remote office) and is an individual contributor.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Sales Representative to manage part of the Key and General Partners business for Nike Canada. The ideal candidate understands complex business issues and solves problems creatively. Success in this role requires experience using industry, consumer, and account data to inform decisions and drive change, along with strong product and business planning knowledge.

What you will work on
  • You will effectively handle a portion of the Key and General Partners business in Canada and provide account feedback to key partners. 
  • You will use market knowledge on product trends, pricing, and the competition to enhance product placement and sell through. 
  • You will develop accurate and realistic go-to-market plans, seasonal assortments, and forecasts. 
  • You will conduct seasonal line reviews with buyers, develop and implement seasonal sales plans, monitor the marketplace and recommend assortment plans. 
  • You will establish and maintain timely, consistent, and positive external and internal relationships. 
  • You will be results driven and be accountable for the execution, management, and timely coordination of your assigned accounts. 
  • You will meet seasonal targets and all deadlines in a timely and consistent manner. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of the customer’s business. 
Who you will work with
  • You will work closely with buyers of the assigned accounts regularly when developing plans and forecasts.
  • You will inform them of business opportunities, problems, progress, and support needed. 
  • You will also be working cross functionally with Nike teammates in Operations, Planning and Merchandising to effectively manage your portfolio. 
  • You will report to the Sr Manager of Key and General Partners, Canada. 
  • You will establish and manage relationships with North American counterparts as required. 
What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Buying, Retail Planning or Merchandising in sporting goods, fashion or related industry
  • Strong understanding of product and trends, maximizing industry, consumer, and account data to make decisions and inspire change. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite. 
  • Ability to travel as required to sales meetings across Canada & USA. 
  • GEO/Territory/International travel as required (GTM, key accounts, industry meetings).

The annual base compensation for this position generally ranges from 73,000 - 109,600 CAD/annually.  Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
