Who you are

You’re a sales professional, looking to learn commercial real estate brokerage. This person would have sales experience with a proven ability to continually expand the business base through regular contact with key and prospective clients. You see the value in a commission-based role with uncapped earning potential. You are a highly motivated, team-oriented individual dedicated to producing high quality work in pursuit of maintaining and growing client relationships with top-tier clients in the Ottawa market.

What you bring

  • Ability to secure new and expanding business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building and identifying opportunities for other service lines

  • Experience in metrics driven sales environment

  • Experience with B2B sales

  • Solutions oriented attitude that allows to seek new solutions and create new opportunities to drive revenue growth

  • Cross collaborative attitude that encourages partnership with other departments, such as Leasing, Investment Sales, Equity Placement and Debt Financing teams, Valuation & Advisory Services, etc. across product lines

Bonus skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Real Estate or other relevant field. (Preferred)

  • Real Estate license is required (or close to completion)

  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience

  • Experience in the Commercial real estate sector or a related industry is considered a strong asset.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills

  • Savvy with technology (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM experience a plus)

  • High volume cold calls

  • You have deep understanding of market cycles and set a short and long-term strategy taking these into consideration

Approximate Salary Range for Role: 100% commission based.
