Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated, self-starting sales professional who is super-charged about taking our groundbreaking technology products to the market. This is an exciting role in a hyper-growth unicorn that is transforming the automotive industry. You will be accountable for generating and maximizing sales revenue goals and increasing customer awareness within a defined territory. If you’re driven, have the ability to convince your audiences for all the right reasons, and have a proven track record of high achievement to goal, we’re looking for you! 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful, trusted relationships with dealer principals, department heads, and management 
  • Identify and qualify prospective dealer partners 
  • Utilize your technology and industry expertise to understand unique dealer needs and identify ways that Tekion can enhance their business performance 
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to sell Tekion’s suite of products and ensure customer adoption, success and rapid value achievement 
  • Meet and exceed sales goals 
  • Strong understanding of automotive DMS and Tekion products and the ability to articulate the value of our solutions. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers within client organizations. 
  • Customize presentations and proposals to align with client unique requirements. 
  • Lead end to end sales process form initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. 
  • Mentor members on Solutions team to assist in sales ideas, presentations, and general knowledge to help facilitate increased revenue. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, market conditions and share with solutions team as appropriate. 

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS or automotive software sales experience (DMS) with experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-million dollar contracts 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen and ability to be a brand ambassador for Tekion 
  • Strong dealer-reference base 
  • Team player who collaborates with internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities 
  • Phone & travel warrior mentality (50-75% travel - fly) 
  • A healthy curiosity and good taste
