NVIDIA is hiring a motivated Senior Account Manager to own and expand strategic ties with prominent Canadian higher education and research institutions. You will apply your strong expertise in High-Performance Computing and AI, coupled with your experience with important Canadian HER clients. You will support the ongoing adoption of NVIDIA’s platforms and help universities and research labs transform their work. This full-time role demands close cooperation with NVIDIA product marketing, solution architects, developer relations, and applied engineering to compose strategy, build pipeline, and achieve significant revenue growth in the HER market. In this capacity, you will manage demand creation, sales, co-selling, forecasting, and education for a defined set of strategic HER accounts and their ecosystem associates. Acting as the principal contact, you will engage with executive leaders, research VPs, program managers, principal investigators, engineers, and developers to cultivate enduring strategic partnerships. You will work alongside OEMs, ISVs, and resellers to formulate and complete go-to-market strategies. These efforts aim to boost adoption of NVIDIA’s AI, HPC, and data center solutions, aligning with national and institutional research priorities. You will also communicate customer and ecosystem feedback to guide NVIDIA’s product strategy, promote NVIDIA platforms, and travel as required to support clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing all facets of demand generation, sales and collaborative selling, forecasting, and enablement for higher education and research accounts.

  • Serving as the main point of contact for key Canadian universities, research institutes, and national research programs, developing them into long-term strategic partners.

  • Coordinating with OEMs, resellers, ISVs, and channel partners to build and implement go-to-market plans that support NVIDIA adoption in HER.

  • Interacting proficiently with involved individuals across all tiers, from senior executives and research leaders to procurement teams, engineers, and developers.

  • Promoting NVIDIA platforms and solutions and providing structured feedback on customer requirements to help build product and solution strategy.

What we need to see:

  • BA degree (or equivalent experience).

  • 10+ years’ experience selling complex solutions to senior executives at named accounts, ideally in higher education, research, or public sector.

  • Established record of increasing revenue and enlarging market share among major research-centered or government-funded customers.

  • Direct experience in business development and sales for systems, software, or related HPC and AI infrastructure.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership, critical thinking, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally.

  • Consistent record of building partnerships, developing solutions and programs, and crafting strong business relationships at all levels.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

  • An MBA or relevant graduate degree.

  • Experience operating within complex university, research, or funding ecosystems, balancing short-term opportunities with long-term strategic goals.

  • Confident executive bearing, elegance, and political awareness, demonstrated by a successful background in boosting revenue for innovative, technology-based solutions.

  • Proven ability to generate and handle pipeline on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

  • Outstanding ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, compelling ways and to lead within a matrixed team environment.
