Overview of the Role Senior Analyst, Finance (level 7)
The Senior Analyst FP&A will provide deep insights into the financial results for the business as well as support forecasting activities and advanced analytics. The Senior Analyst, FP&A will also act as a trusted business partner to all business units leveraging resources across the organization to contribute to the identification of actionable insights for strategic decision making. In addition, the Senior Analyst will support the strategic business development (SBD) department.

This is an 18-month contract position.
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Participate in the S&OP process to better understand the state of the Canadian Division (New product creation, Demand, Supply) ;
- Prepare and analyze the profitability of the S&OP categories through the S&OP process ;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts of the Canadian Sales Division to help guide Senior Management in their decision making ;
- Prepare pro-forma P&Ls to help acquire new businesses through the RFP process ;
- Prepare and analyze all co-pack & other cross-functional opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of the Canadian Division EBITDA files ;
- Track and analyze profitability of the Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and Capital projects;
- Participate in various ad-hoc projects and requests to support the business needs
- Develop reports with key performance indicators (KPI) to support strategic analysis;
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- University degree in accounting, finance;
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role;
- Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation obtained, or in the process of being obtained, a very strong asset;
- High level of precision, organizational and analytical skills, self-motivation and initiative;
- Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) and AS/400 is an asset;
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and the Office suite;
- Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential, as the teams and clients are spread across Canada.
