Job Description

Cboe is looking for a Senior Associate, Client Education – APAC, to be based in Singapore, Hong Kong or Sydney.

This role is a mission-driven educator responsible for supporting the delivery and localization of high-impact educational content for The Options Institute’s (OI) global learner base. Reporting to the Senior Director, Client Education, the Senior Associate will play a critical role in expanding the reach of OI’s curriculum to new audiences across the APAC region. This individual will deliver live instruction, support the development of education materials, and provide insight into regional learning preferences and language needs to ensure accessibility and learner success.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver OI education sessions virtually and in-person to retail and institutional learners in the APAC region using preexisting and net new evergreen education materials.

  • Translate and localize OI education materials into at least one APAC regional language, maintaining consistency with original instructional intent.

  • Assist in the creation of evergreen education content (e.g., outlines, scripts, articles, slides, trading examples, evaluations) in partnership with the Senior Director and Director of Curriculum Development.

  • Support learner engagement by simplifying complex financial concepts and creating/applying regionally relevant examples and case studies.

  • Grow the OI’s Adjunct Faculty network in APAC, serving as key representative responsible for liaising with candidates, facilitating onboarding in partnership with OI Project Manager, and managing relationships to deliver education programs with APAC-based faculty.

  • Contribute to the development and adaptation of assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and gather student feedback across APAC region.

  • Copywrite and localize promotional blurbs, course descriptions, and summaries to resonate with regional learners and clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and regional stakeholders to gather market-specific insights and learner preferences that can inform curriculum adjustments.

  • Stay informed on financial market trends, regulatory changes, and retail investing behavior across APAC to help maintain curriculum relevance and impact.

  • Provide input and support for instructor-led training and coaching programs as needed.

  • Assist with administrative and operational needs related to course delivery, learner communications, and feedback tracking.

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of capital markets and financial instruments, with an emphasis on derivatives. Experience trading equity or equity derivatives preferred.

  • Effective communication and public speaking skills with the ability to present to both beginner and advanced learners.

  • Proven ability to write and edit educational content for diverse audiences in both English and at least one APAC regional language (e.g., Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, etc.).

  • Culturally aware with a student-centered approach to teaching and content development.

  • Passionate about financial education and committed to improving outcomes through learning.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced global environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for instructional design and visual storytelling.

  • Experience using learning management systems or delivering digital learning content preferred.

  • Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience in financial education or professional development contexts preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree:

Preferred: Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, Business or a related major.

Technical Skills:

  • Fluent in English and at least one APAC regional language

  • Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence), SalesForce, Sigma preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel

Other skills Required:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Curiosity about complex systems and effective methods for communicating complex concepts simply

  • Preference to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams while also thriving on independent project assignments

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and a willingness to adapt

  • Deep interest in derivatives markets and products

Work Experience:

5+ years of experience working in financial markets
