Role Overview:
The Senior Associate, Email Channel Manager owns the strategy, performance, and evolution of the outbound email channel for New York Life's Direct-to-Consumer business. This role defines the email roadmap across the customer lifecycle, drives innovation, and delivers measurable impact on engagement and business growth.
What You'll Do:
• Own and evolve the email channel strategy across the customer journey, leading the development of targeted, data-driven programs• Establish testing strategies, measurement frameworks, and KPIs to inform channel direction and optimize performance• Translate performance data into strategic insights, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and business decisions• Establish and enhance QA/QC frameworks and governance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalable execution• Solve complex, ambiguous challenges related to segmentation, personalization, and channel performance
What You'll Bring:
You bring 5+ years of email marketing experience, with demonstrated ownership of channel strategy and performance across the customer lifecycle. You have a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align teams around shared goals, operating as a credible subject matter expert. You've partnered effectively with external vendors to deliver both executional excellence and strategic value. You also bring strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.
Required Skills:
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in data and technical workflows• Ability to manage competing priorities while contributing to broader digital prioritization (Agile experience a plus)• Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a highly regulated industry• Familiarity with AI and data science tools
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $100,000-$140,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
