About the team

The Strategy & Operations team at Airwallex plays a pivotal role in driving the company's overall growth and efficiency. We are a collaborative group of analysts, strategists, and operational experts who are passionate about translating vision into action. We leverage data insights, sharp problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the business to optimize processes, identify growth opportunities, and ensure Airwallex operates efficiently and effectively at scale.

What you’ll do

The Senior Associate, Revenue Strategy & Operations, is a pivotal role within our North American SME Sales team, driving go-to-market strategies for our US and Canada businesses. We're seeking a self-motivated individual who will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product teams to implement high-impact initiatives that accelerate our revenue growth. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Revenue Strategy.

This role is based in Toronto.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead go-to-market strategy: Identify, prioritize, and size key verticals to ensure optimal product-market fit in emerging market

  • Drive GTM experiments: Leverage data and business acumen to conduct experiments that enhance revenue efficiency

  • Identify product needs: Conduct research to gather customer feedback and drive stronger product-market fit in our core market

  • Project manage: Own projects from start to finish, collaborating with local and international cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives

  • Influence and collaborate: Serve as a strategic business partner to commercial teams and effectively collaborate with stakeholders to implement initiatives

Who you are

We're looking for individuals who meet the minimum qualifications. Preferred qualifications are a plus but not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in top-tier strategy/management consulting

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively connecting with people at all levels and conveying project expectations

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can navigate ambiguity and change

  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to address challenges with limited oversight

  • A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization and globally

  • Ambitious and excited to contribute to Airwallex's growth in various geographies and product lines

Preferred qualifications:

  • Analytical thinker capable of conducting sophisticated data analysis and translating findings into actionable insights

  • Proven track record of collaborating across teams, including sales, operations, design, and marketing

  • Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively present to senior and cross-functional leaders

  • Self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and takes action
