Role Summary:
As a Senior Backend Engineer at AICrete, your role will be crucial in developing the server-side logic of AICreteOS using modern frameworks like Django. You will build high-performance applications that integrate seamlessly with our front-end components, ensuring the end-to-end system functions efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust backend services using Django and other Python frameworks.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive user experience.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Implement security and data protection solutions.
- Manage hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong background in Django (minimum of 4 years preferred).
- Expertise in Python and its libraries.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web service integration.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and an understanding of NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, which is part of our tech stack.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for effective team collaboration.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of the concrete and/or materials industry.
