Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our agile product team responsible for building a next-generation platform for 2nd Line Risk Management within our Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (EGRC) framework. As part of a large global bank, this role will bridge business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered to meet regulatory and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and risk stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine business requirements.
  • Translate complex risk management processes into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new features and regulatory changes.
  • Partner with QA teams to validate functionality against requirements and ensure quality delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to align on objectives and resolve ambiguities.
  • Monitor and report on progress, risks, and dependencies across the product lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5-7+ years as a Business Analyst in agile environments.
    • Prior experience in financial services or risk management domains.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with EGRC platforms and risk frameworks (e.g., operational risk, compliance risk).
    • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and agile delivery tools.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (Basel, SOX, etc.).
    • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
