We exist to help businesses create more meaningful connections with the people they serve. Our mission is to improve the communication experience between frontline workers and their customers. We do this by enhancing face-to-face interactions and creating connections at scale, our clients leverage automations to improve Customer Experience (CX) and Operational Efficiency (OE) at participating locations.

Our new platform, EL8, uses automated workflows for task creation and assignment, conversation management, and scheduled reminders, to empower local businesses to go beyond customer expectations without requiring additional staff. Currently serving industry-leading brands in lodging, hospitality, and travel, we are now looking to capitalize on the opportunity presented by COVID-19 to help overworked frontline staff deliver exceptional service to their customers.

About this role

We are seeking high-energy, impact players to support our aggressive growth as Senior Business Development Representatives (BDR). As the first point of contact with our customers, BDRs are responsible for driving revenue growth by generating opportunities for Senior Account Executives (AEs). The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a BDR role (or similar), a proven record of exceeding targets, and a bachelor’s degree. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a closely-knit team focused on solidifying our position in the hospitality and travel markets as travel begins to return. Your role will require exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on detail.

You will be responsible for:

  • High-volume prospecting, call outreach and top-of-funnel SaaS sales
  • Identify new opportunities by reaching out to prospects via telephone, email and LinkedIn to introduce our Hospitality Product Line
  • Initiate outbound lead generation programs, including cold-calling prospects
  • Engage with decision makers to identify (discover) the needs and challenges of their hotels
  • Work with Account Executives to transition prospects through the entire sales process from interest to conversion
  • Grow, maintain and manage a pipeline by leveraging MicroMetrics’ prospect database
  • Handle prospect objections and follow up with decision-makers using different outbound sales tactics and tools
  • Work with Senior Leadership to develop new strategies, grow the sales pipeline, and consistently meet personal and team goals
  • Motivate and support team members to achieve sales targets/individual results

We will be reaching out to candidates that have:

  • 1+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar high-volume sales/customer facing role
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving performance-related goals (KPIs)
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously and remotely
  • Comfortable in a high-volume, top-of-funnel role
  • Desire to develop a career in Business Development/SaaS Sales, with a strong technical aptitude
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • A post-secondary degree is an asset
