The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights to drive strategic business decisions. This senior role involves designing and maintaining sophisticated BI solutions, leading data analysis initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders to solve business challenges through data-driven approaches.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborates with different stakeholders from various Business areas — enabling better visibility into key metrics. 
  • Designs, builds, and maintains BI dashboards and data models that connect business data to broader business objectives.
  • Partners with Data Engineering to enhance data pipelines and ensure that financial and operational datasets are accurate, timely, and well-governed. 
  • Transforms complex datasets into executive-ready insights and visualizations that drive strategic decisions. 
  • Supports initiatives that improve how financial and operational data are surfaced and consumed — reducing manual reporting and improving self-service capabilities. 
  • Leads BI projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering and design through testing and deployment, with a strong focus on data accuracy and stakeholder engagement. 
  • Mentors colleagues and stakeholders in BI best practices, promoting data literacy across the business. 

About You

  • Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computing Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related discipline. 
  • 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or analytics roles.
  • Proven track record designing and delivering BI dashboards and data models for corporate reporting and decision-support. 
  • Extensive experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and familiarity with M language (Power Query) is preferred.
  • Experience with modern BI development practices, including version control (GitHub) and CI/CD for report deployment. 
  • Familiarity with AWS Redshift, S3, or similar cloud data platforms. 
  • Strong background in data modeling techniques including dimensional modeling and fact table design.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to present complex data-driven narratives to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience in Amazon Quick Suite or QuickSight.
  • Experience in Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio.
  • Experience supporting large Business Intelligence projects, including forecasting, variance analysis, or performance dashboards. 
  • Exposure to AI/ML applications in analytics (forecasting, anomaly detection, etc.). 
  • Experience with Jira or similar tools for project and task tracking.
